It looks like you’re using Internet Explorer 7. Would you be able to upgrade to Internet Explorer 9, or try a different browser like Firefox or Chrome?
If you are using Internet Explorer 9, this means that you have Compatibility Mode enabled, which renders everything like Internet Explorer 7 would. If that is the case, please try disabling Compatibility Mode.

Hey, thank you! I went with Google Chrome and the problems are gone.
Previously I’d had a WordPress notice that I should upgrade my browser. But when I tried, the computer said that I already had a more recent version in use. But still, I kept getting the upgrade message… until finally WordPress broke. And it never occurred to me to try Google Chrome. Thanks again for the help.
