Problems activating my website on a domain hosted elsewhere
-
When I try to Launch my site, and point it to a domain I already own, I get the following error:
‘This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.’I have waited nearly a week, hoping it would resolve itself, but message is still there. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, @rotarytlpf.
I can see that rtlpf.org.au is pointing to WordPress.com servers. Have you already purchased a plan at WordPress.com? A paid plan is necessary because, without it, you won’t be able to launch that site. If you’ve purchased a plan and are still unable to launch the site, you’ll be assisted in due time by a member of staff. This thread has been tagged for their attention.
Here’s the link to plans: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Hi Macmanx, I want it mapped to rtlpf.org.au.
I had originally mapped an earlier effort at a WordPress website to this domain, but confused myself and decided to delete it and start again, with this result.
I hope you can advise me!

Hi –
The domain is rtlpf.org.au and it needs to get mapped to a free site address on your WordPress.com account. That will pull it in to the account. We can map it to https://rtlpforg.wordpress.com/ which is the only free site address that I see on your account. Is that what you want?
