Problems adding a new blog

  Trying to add a new blog to my account, but when I type the address I want into the “Blog Address” box, the graphic comes up that says “Checking…” and then nothing happens. It never comes back with a response.

  I did try carrying on and submitting the form anyway, but I just get an error message.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m using the latest Firefox, I even tried it in Safe Mode in case an extension was interfering with it.

  A little experimentation just now, reveals that the checking works fine for the paid options, just not for the free wordpress.com address.
