problems adding author to blog

    Hi,

    I created a blog and have added several authors to the blog. However, I am having trouble adding one of the authors I tried to add. I sent an invitation to her email account, but when she clicks “accept invitation” the blog does not show up on her user account. Can you manually add her as a user to the blog?

    Hi there,

    Can you please try resending the invitation email to that author? You can do this under Users > Invite New in the blog’s dashboard. There is a “Resend” link next to each user who hasn’t accepted the invitation yet.

    If the “Accept Invitation” button doesn’t work, please have her try the following steps:

    1. Log in to the WordPress.com account you sent the invitation to
    2. In her email program or another browser window, open the invitation email and copy the link at the bottom of the email, under “Trouble clicking? Copy and paste this URL into your browser”
    3. Return to the browser window where she logged in to WordPress.com
    4. Paste the link into the address bar

    If she has any further trouble, please ask her to reply to this forum thread and I can investigate what’s going wrong here!

    Also ask her to make sure she is using an updated version of one of the most common browsers used today.
