Problems adding new users

    I have tried to add two new users this week. Both have set up WordPress.com accounts. I know that one of them activated hers. I’m not certain yet about the other one. I cannot add either one with the Add User function. Instead of adding the account, WP asks me if I want to send an invitation.

    Since this has happened with two accounts, I think there may be a problem within WordPress.

    Can you please help me with this?

    Are you trying to add them as visitors to a private blog, or are you trying to add them as contributors or authors so that they can post on your site?

    If you could please, also give us a link to the blog, even if it is private. We volunteers won’t be able to see it, but at least we will know you are in the right place for your question.
