Problems after moving
-
Hey there,
i recently moved my selfhosted wordpress blog to a new host and unfortunately I couldnt get the backup to fully work again.
Before we moved we had problems with something that seemed like a ddos attack, which resulted in tons of spam comments and also somehow infected the code of the backup, so when I tried to import the backup I realized that the database seems to be missing some parts and also my complete statistics as well as the list of subscribers are gone.
This might also be related though to the fact that my former admin hosted the blog on the address „blog.parisisburning.de“ instead of the regular „www.parisisburning.de“ which we changed with moving. I have a bit of hope that there is a way to get this part of my database back since it is at least displayed in the wordpress app (but not really accessible anymore since everything changed of course). I dont know what to do anymore so if there is anything else I can try I would be more than happy to know! :(Best wishes

Sorry but you are in the wrong place.
These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.comWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
http://wordpress.org/support/If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
Cheers

Hi there,
Were you using Jetpack for your subscribers and stats? If so, we might be able to still move that over to the new site, provided you also have Jetpack installed there. I don’t see any Jetpack connections on this account, so also please tell me what username you had used to connect with Jetpack, if you were using it.
If you were using a different stats service there’s nothing we can do as we have no access to the data that used to be on your site. We also cannot export data that is stored in the local cache in the app on your mobile device.
