Problems authenticating in Woocommerce.com, now disconnected.

Created a new WordPress.com account, primarily to use with Woocommerce.com for extensions and support. All went normally, clicked link to verify email address with success message from WordPress.com. Logged into Woocommerce, but it kept telling me to verify my email for access to buy save credit cards, download extensions, etc. Tried to re-verify, but never got new email.
As a last resort, I disconnected Woocommerce from the account, and now it won’t let me re-connect. Says Woocommerce account already exists, but won’t accept the email address and/or password. I’m basically stuck. What do I do?
