Problems changing email and contact info

I purchased a WP business account, got the emails verifying too. For some reason, the system will not let me change/update email address. I get an error every time.

What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
And, exactly which username account registered that site?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

You can change your email address on your accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account
There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.

You can go to My Account-> Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
