Problems connecting my new domain with wordpress.com.

I went to activate both Askimet and Jetpack. I was successful with the Askimet and received my API key and activated site with WP.org no problem. I then went to activate Jetpack and it doesn’t connect with the WP.com. I have already started customizing it on .org. I noticed that the site name here does not match the actual website address. Should I just delete what is here on .com and redo it? The actual website is wtfisreallygoingon.site and the site name here is wtfisgoingonsite.wordpress.com
