Problems Creating/Editing Posts
-
When I log in to the backend of my WordPress site it looks normal, but when I click a post to edit or click to create a new post I get a scrambled mess of a page and I can’t edit anything. It’s as if it’s not loading properly or something and the sidebar and toolbars take up the whole page.
I’ve checked that everything is updated with my theme and WordPress and tried to refresh the page but I still keep getting this weird mess of a page.
How can I fix this so I can edit my posts?

Name Servers
NS1.BLUEHOST.COM
NS2.BLUEHOST.COMHi there, it looks like your site isn’t hosted here on WordPressdotcom. Are you writing in the WP Admin Post Editor directly on your site or is your site connected to WordPressdotcom via Jetpack and you’re posting in the Calypso Post Editor?
In either case, I’d try logging out and clearing your browser cache and cookies, which will also log you out of every other site you are logged into, and then shutting down and reopening your browser and logging back in. If that doesn’t work, try disabling any browser extensions you have added recently.
If neither of those work then you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of the WordPressdotcom platform. For more information on the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Hope that helps.

Also sorry for using the wrong forum, I didn’t know but will use the other one in future.

Hi again, Glad to hear it was a simple fix. Thanks for coming back and letting us know it worked. No need to apologize for posting to the “wrong” forum. You are in very good company on that point. :) Best wishes and happy blogging!
