Problems editing about and home pages on Expound theme

  Can anyone advise how to make visible text on About and Home text on Expound theme? I changed themes and now the text still visible on dashboard does not show on main pages when clicking on the about or home icons. I have updated several times but still no change. New to wordpress and CSS so bear with me as a novice!
