Problems faced after moving from wordpress.com to wordpress.org
-
Hi,
Its been 2 weeks that i moved to my own domain — http://www.wheelsonourfeet.com.
— When still with wordpress, had a total of about 36,000 views. Lost all of them. Is there a way to get them back?
— My views have fallen drastically. don’t know what is wrong.
— People are still following my old blog on wordpress.com. How to forward them to the .org sit? I bought a $13 redirect, but of no use :-(The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need to install and configure the JetPack Plugin – then the staff can transfer your followers and stats to your new site

I have transferred your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
If you wish, I can merge your stats for you as well.
Please note that if you are experiencing a drop in views on a self-hosted site, that could be because your posts will no longer automatically appear in the WordPress.com Reader. If you just registered a new domain for your self-hosted site, you will also need to build up search engine traffic (SEO) for the new site, since the address for the site has changed. That will happen in time.

Hi,
Thanks for your email. request you to please merge my stats. Plus, is there a way to appear in WordPress.com Reader?

is there a way to appear in WordPress.com Reader?
Anyone can subscribe to your blog with the Reader, but your Tags & Categories will not show up in the Reader or be indexed by the Reader.

I have merged the stats for you.
As raincoaster explained, a feature that currently works only for blogs hosted on WordPress.com is having blog posts appear in the Reader based on categories and tags.
