Problems getting published

    I have bought a domain name from Go Daddy (a dot com one) and have started creating a free website with WordPress. I have mapped the WordPress URL. However, when I try to view my website I have two problems:
    1) the web address changes from my one to one with ‘site.wordpress.com’ after it, or sometimes ‘com.wordpress.com’ after it.
    2) none of my content is on the site – just a template theme.

    I haven’t paid WordPress for anything – do I have to pay the £30 a year fee for it to work? I already paid for the domain name from Go Daddy, and this £30 a year WordPress fee seems to include the domain name too…
