problems http/https

  I have just this week migrated my domain from wordpress.com to another .org service in order to have more control of the site, but am having problem with the automatic referral in chrome and firefox. The old domain with wordpress.com was https and the new with citynetwork is http. Thus it keeps on sending people to the old https site which then shows an error.
  It is so much that even after I work directly in the admin, after five minutes it will recur to the https and I can no longer work without having to clean out cache, play with the HSTS etc. (http://superuser.com/questions/565409/chrome-how-to-stop-redirect-from-http-to-https). Have you got any suggestion to resolve this issue?
