Problems Importing from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  Hi there,

  When I try and import my wordpress.com blog to my self hosted blog I notice that the ‘submit post’ button (when adding a new post) changes to ‘submit for review’ after I have completed the import. So now when I try to add a new post to my blog it will not let me complete the post anymore. Also when I do hit the ‘submit for review’ button I get an error message saying that I am not allowed to edit this post.

  I suspect it is changing the authorization for posting as it is detecting my old posts as a different user.. Is there any way of overcoming this problem so that I can post properly after importing my wordpress.com blog?

  Hi. If you are referring to a button called “Submit for review” on your self-hosted blog, you might want to ask instead at http://wordpress.org/support/
