Problems in changing New Theme replacing my present Theme

    I wanted to update my front WordPress Theme to a new Theme

    When I tried to change it over to Superhero Theme
    it became a mess it did not give me the new Theme I wanted

    I than tried another Theme Canape also gave me a mess what ever theme I choose will not change over…

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    re: switching themes

    Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do a lot of work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme with different features and/or if you have done any CSS editing.

    Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

    The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

    Dear Timethief
    Thanking you for your kind response to my seeking help here in WordPress from a problem I am stumpted on having a problem from changing my old Theme Chateau to a much polish theme that fits my profile as a Graphic Designer.

    Today I spend most of the day trying everything in getting Superhero to look like the way it shows in the Themes section.

    I than tried a different Theme.. Canape showing another disaster I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

    I followed the live demo reel you have sent me here but what ever Theme I choose still dosen’t show the same way it shows in the Theme Display Section.
