Problems Inserting Photos

    Hello WordPress Community,

    I’ve been blogging on WP for over a year with almost no problems. But I just started a new blog and after making a few successful entires I’m having trouble posting photos.

    The photo seems to upload and insert fine but I am not able to insert anything (neither text nor more photos) below it. Usually hitting ENTER will bring you to the next line but that’s not working. I tried inserting all the photos for the entry together as a gallery but then I just get a generic picture of a camera.

    Any thoughts on what I did to cause this change?

    I put place holders in before I insert pictures – in my case I put just a single “z” and hit return then another “z” and so on – that way if I am putting pictures in a blank Post I can always get to a place to start new text – sort of a Kludge but works for me –

    Also, have you tried switching over to the text editor to precisely place your cursor where you want the next image to be? The cursor in the visual editor is not always exactly where it appears to be. That is, it can sometimes be inside the code from the previous image. Granted this usually happens with captions, but this may be a possible solution to the problem.
