Problems leaving comments

  Hello,
  My students have been trying to post comments on one of my posts for the last several hours, and have been unable to do so. I can post if I’m logged in, but if I am not, the section where the email needs to be added does not allow you to type anything.   Hi Monica!

  It looks like this is a small bug within the theme. I’ve reported this to our theme developers, and I will let you know as soon as it is resolved.

  In the meantime, you can deselect “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail ” on your Discussion settings if you would like:

  https://spanishisfun.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php

  Please note, this may result in “Anonymous” comments if your students do not at least fill in the name field.

  Hi Monica,

  This issue with the Mayer theme should be resolved. Can you let me know if you experience any additional trouble?
