Problems linking to Gravatar

  Hi. I have a Gravatar account. However, I cannot seem to be able to get the profile picture to show up in my WordPress site.

  When I log into the WordPress admin, go to my user profile, under Profile Picture click Gravatar, it will automatically log me into Gravatar. Even though I’ve set the default image in Gravatar, it does not show up in WordPress. In WordPress, it still shows an empty image. I’ve logged out of all accounts and tried again… without success.

  Any ideas or help?

  Gravatar is gone. This blavatar is a bad idea.

  A wordpress.com account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing.

  You can use one gravatar image for each username account. It will apply to all sites referred under the same username account. And, the Gravatar help link is http://en.gravatar.com/support/

  Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.

  Dashboard → Settings → General

  * Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with the actual name of your blog in the URL

  http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  Do not keep uploading!
  Do not forget to select an image rating.
  Know that other bloggers can choose not to display any “erotic” gravatar’s on their site.
