Problems mapping subdomain
-
I’m trying to map already registered subdomain, blog.predatornutrition.com, to my predatornutrition.wordpress.com blog, but when i try to add a domain it says: Someone (maybe you?) already registered blog.predatornutrition.com, but the domain is not pointing to WordPress.com.
I have already edited the CNAME record as follows: blog CNAME predatornutrition.wordpress.com and i am not sure what else should i do to make it work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi. Check with your domain or DNS provider. Perhaps you need to enter your CNAME record otherwise. As an example, WordPress.com says it’s:
subdomain.yourdomain.com. IN CNAME yourblog.wordpress.com.

Hi, I checked the CNAME record with my DNS provider, who confirmed that it’s correct, but still no luck.

When I look the CNAME record for blog.predatornutrition.com, I see this:
;blog.predatornutrition.com. IN CNAMEBut it should look like this:
blog.predatornutrition.com. IN CNAME predatornutrition.wordpress.com.There are two possible problems. One is that the DNS provider has not pushed the changes properly. You might try updating it there again one more time just to make sure it has been saved correctly. The other possibility is that your DNS has not propagated. However, since it has been over 24 hours it’s probably an issue with the DNS. Can you try updating it again? I checked it and I can’t see any updated CNAME record for blog.predatornutrition.com even though you said your DNS provider confirmed it was updated.
