problems opening up wordpress site

Its taking so much time to open up site, and once open, it states there is an autosave option, which I click and then it never opens up…..just a small box saying Exit page or Wait. Any ideas?

I don’t know how to do any of what you have suggested. Its so bad today, I have spent all day trying to get on to my site – refreshing, restarting, its absolutely impossible, and soul destroying as I don’t understand no know what to do.
After quite a long time (much longer than before) the pages open, but when I click on a page to edit…..again after a long time, it says Open autosaved page, which I click on, and then nothing happens. Its sometimes comes up with a box, saying Wait or Exit pages, and sometimes, after refreshing, it says DNS_hung something or other. Any ideas? Ive got a deadline to reach, nothing is open to go ask for help and Im beside myself with worry and confusion.
