problems placing categories under parent category

  I was under the impression that if I assigned a parent category to a category that it would then automatically be placed underneath it in the category widget found on the right. However all that happens is that subcategories are placed in alphabetical orders together with all listed categories.

  Hi there,

  Could you go to Appearance → Widgets, and edit the Categories widget, enabling the “Show Hierarchy” option?
