Problems Posting and Editing

  I have been having problems the past two days with posting and editing posts from Safari and a Mac. When I go to do so, the page never loads and eventually freezes. I emptied my cache, and updating my computer but the problem is still happening. Now, it is starting to happen when I go to load other pages.
  Any ideas?

  I did e-mail support and did what they told me to, but it did not work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Sarah,
  Too bad this is happening to you. I think you do know the browser issues drill, but I want to be sure that you actually log out and in again more than once as it sometimes works.

  Which Safari version are you using?
  Have you tried FireFox?

  I have logged out and back in multiple times, but nothing seems to work. I do have Firefox and attempted it on there, but still nothing. I did test the problem on another computer and it was still extremely slow and tended to freeze.

  Ugh! It’s a weird thing since I can respond to comments just fine and do other things but when it comes to posting… I get shunned by the load button! I e-mailed support once again, hopefully they have an idea.

  Actually the page loading time for me has been slow on my blog this afternoon to when editing, so maybe the code monkeys are working on something big in the backend. SHRUG

  The only other thing I can think of, besides what timethief suggested, (and I use Macs exclusively) is that it might be a problem with your wireless stuff. Very technical term there, but my daughter fixed it by unplugging the router airport extreme and plugging them back in again. router first then airport i think???

  I’m ok with stuff on computers when they work, but wireless probs and printer jams, oh please don’t ask me!!

  huh.

  posting times (on test blog, since I haven’t posted on my real blog today) seemed normal. fast. Function of which servers our stuff goes through? Looking at wp.com blogs was also normal.

  I turned off my Airport twice to try and see what would happen. Usually if it is a wireless problem, other computers in the household are affected. It seems to be just me :(

  don’t know what else to try. the wireless solution was a shot in the dark. and yes, all computers are affected…
