Problems publishing a post

    I have attempted to publish several posts only to get this ” You forgot to write something” this is written in red and will not allow me to publish. I am new to this site and need some direction on this.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,
    On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/ The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.
    Here is how to write a new post.
    Here is how to create a new page.

    1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

    2. Will you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies?

    3. You can upgrade any browser version here.

    4. Have you tried using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled?

    5. Do you have third party cookies enabled?

    6. Do you have JavaScript enabled? http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

    7. Exactly which browser and version of it are you using?

    8. Do you have another browser you can try?

    9. You can use this link to see if your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

    10. Have your tried resetting your router and modem?

    Hi, also have the same problem, and it’s bugging me, cause I always go to that page instead of the old New Post.

    I have every setting by default, and using Firefox 13.0a1 Nightly channel. Flash is the greatest and latest.

    Also having the same problem with Chrome version 18 Canary build, shows “You forgot to write something!”

    rocketdoodle.wordpress.com is no longer available.
    The authors have deleted this blog.

    If the browser versions you choose to use are not stable versions but are BETA versions then they will be buggy. Which blog are your referring to? Please post an active link to it starting with http:// so we can try to help you.

    I think the problem is in Chrome (or perhaps just Flash or Java?). Works fine in Firefox.

    Thanks for your browser report. If you are experiencing this error message “You forgot to write something” this is written in red and will not allow me to publish” then please use the Help link of the top right hand corner of your Admin page to report your technical issue to Staff.
