Problems removing an old expired domain name

  I want to delete the domain name http://www.thevirtuousman.me, so that I can add a new domain name of my choosing.

  When I type in the URL box http://www.thevirtuousman.wordpress.com, it just redirects me to my old expired domain name http://www.thevirtuousman.me, and I would like that removed so that my new domain name for my blog is http://www.thevirtuousman.wordpress.com.

  Any help would be great,

  I’ve removed the domain from your account, so you should be all set. Your browser may be caching the direction to the old domain, so you may need to clear the cache.
