Problems Single Spacing Poetry

    I used to easily copy and paste from Word, Wordpad, or TextEditor, using either the text or the word paste feature, but now all of my attempts to make my formats from poems look the same fail. I either get large double spacing, or everything is smashed together, including spaces between stanzas. This started 2-3 versions ago. Any ideas on how to fix this?
