problems starting my blog

  I tried choosing the ‘Free’ blog option to start with, and somehow, I wound up being asked for $96 for it.

  Maybe at some point, I’ll gladly pay, but for now….I don’t need anything beyond the free option I was recommended.

  How do I get this handled properly?

  I was recommended to you by my friend who also has a blog here.

  It’s the Premium Plan which costs that amount, the Free plan should be free: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Are you able to take a screenshot? If it is the “Greatest Man Alive” blog, it would appear you’ve already set up your site, so let me know if you’re still running into issues.
