Problems to make a normal link within a post

  Hi!
  I am doing some trials in my first blog in wordpress.com and I´m having problems to make a normal link in the post.
  I do everything as “in the rules”- write the text, highlight the part I want to link, click the chain like link, but then there is no popup window…
  Can somebody help me? (I am using a mac)

  I´m using the netscape 7.1

  you might try it in safari. the ‘popup’ is just a little javascript within the page, so if netscape doesn’t get the styling right, the popup could be buried at the bottom of the page.
