Problems Unlocking Domain

I have turned off the domain privacy, but still get the message below under Domains -> Transfer Domain -> Transfer to another registrar
It is only possible to transfer a domain after 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. Learn more.
I did opt out of the 60 day lock when I saved the contact details. It’s been 79 days since I originally registered the domain. I did get an email confirming the changes, but no email to verify the domain.

Hi @soulfireequestrian — I apologize but you are using the wrong forum center. You need to know the difference between WordPress.com, and WordPress.org, because they aren’t the same forums. Each have different but some same features. If you still don’t understand, read on.
You are on WordPress.com Forums, when you would need to be on WordPress.org forums, for this request, as this is for hosted sites, and not for “self” hosted sites under their own hosts.
Basically, they have they have the same name, but the difference is .org, and .com, and have different options in each. Also, WordPress.com, is where everything is done for you, and WordPress.org, where you manage you servers, etc.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.

It’s been 79 days since I originally registered the domain.
I checked your account and saw that soulfireequestrian.com was purchased on 12/29/2017, which is only 51 days ago from today. You’ll need to wait the nine more days before you are able to transfer the domain to a new registrar.
