Problems uploading & viewing images

  I am trying to upload a JPEG image that’s 19 KB. When I click “insert into post,” the image upload screen goes all white. And the image does not appear in my blog posting.
  However, the image is visible in the gallery.

  I’ve tried multiple times to upload the image and one time I could see the image while I was in the “write” mode, but when I clicked “preview the post”, all I saw was a little white box with a red X. I tried right-clicking on the red X and selected show photo, but nothing happened.

  Yes, this is happening to me, too. I’m guessing that WordPress is very very busy or it’s a new glitch. I’ll be waiting for the answer….

  There was a glitch pointed out yesterday that doesn’t sound like this. But one the day before that does.

  What browser and version are you using? Can you provide a link to your blog, starting with http?

  The problem seems to have miraculously disappeared. Just now when I clicked “insert into post,” the image appeared in both the ‘write” and “preview” modes.

  I’m having the same problem. The image is in media gallery but when I try to upload all I get is a blank white screen. I’m using IE 7.

  Sigh. I’m having the same problem. Again. I adjusted my security settings, upgraded flash, even figured that I could download using the HTML version of posting easier than the visual. That was back in the beginning of April. The problem is back. It started on Friday and I seemed to be able to download some pictures yesterday but today is another story. So much for a quick blog entry…an hour later and I’m back in forums. I’m frustrated. I use IE. Any direction would be great!

  I’m very glad I found this post as I am having the some problem. Last night it worked without a hitch tonight I’ve tried for the best part of an hour and all I get is the white screen.

  What browser and version are you using? Can you provide a link to your blog, starting with http?

  The workaround is, once the image is uploaded, copy the URL that is displayed. Close the Uploader window and put the URL in the post using the Image Icon, the tree. Then format as usual.
