Problems uploading images, blue question mark appearing?

    Hi guys,

    sorry if this is a real simple problem or I’m being stupid.. basically I’m having problems uploading images. The images seem to upload fine, but when it comes to previewing my post and publishing it, all I see is the little blue box with the question mark, and when you click that the image does appear just not in the post!

    it’s a jpeg and everything, I’m guessing its something to do with the paths and links? I’m not very confident with the coding etc so if anybody can help I’d be really grateful.

    (1) How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

    (2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

    (3) Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

    (4) Have you tried using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled?

    Hi,

    1) Just Broadband, a secure connection with a router. We don’t have many problems with the net cutting out or anything.

    2) Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/534.57.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.7 Safari/534.57.2. I’m using Safari.

    3) yes have cleared both.

    4) What extensions and add-ons would they be? Sorry! I haven’t used any plugins or anything on my site yet either.
