problems uploading pics

Anybody else having difficulty uploading pics? I have been able to get very few pics to upload for the last 4 days. I have tried various browsers, uploading to media and directly into a post, retaking the pics, and nothing seems to work. I use a mac. Don’t know if it’s an issue with my computer, my camera, or wordpress. Thanks for any help!

I am having the same issue. Sometimes I will post 4 pic and only on or 2 will show on my post. Would appreciate any help on why this isn’t working.

Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates can cause problems so check for known issues. When you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

~I am using http.~I use Chrome (that is the new browser I switched to) and all my browsers, including firefox and safari, are up to date.
~My flash is up to date.
~I had been clearing the cache.
~I am not sure f I have third party cookies enabled.
~I recently installed Norton antivirus and wonder if that had anything to do with it. My computer has been shut down since then, so everything should be updated.
~I also recently upgraded my DSL speed.
~Somebody suggested I export my photos from iphoto before trying to upload, and that has worked so far.

The problems with Chrome have been happening for at least six months with me. I always have to use firefox if I want to upload multiple photos in one post. I can upload one but then it won’t let me move the cursor down to have a space between pictures. Why hasn’t wordpress worked out this problem yet?

In order to resolve an issue Staff have to be able to duplicate the issue. I think the answer is that there are so many variables that it’s hard to nail down the issue by duplicating it and resolving it. Some have switched for Chrome or Firefox and their issue disappeared but that was not the case with all who switched.
I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting for them to respond to you.
