Problems uploading videos from my mac. I want to upload videos from my mac but I can’t make it work. It says it’s because of the type of file? Can’t I upload mac videos?

I see the issue — you have a trial of the Premium upgrade, but as it’s not “officially” live, your VideoPress feature has not yet been turned on.
If you decide on the Premium upgrade, there won’t be a problem uploading a video from your iPhone. The size of your file certainly isn’t too large. If you decide you do not want the full Premium upgrade, but still would like the VideoPress component, you can add that separately:
If you’d prefer not to do any upgrade, but still would like to integrate video into your site, you can upload your video to a free service like YouTube and embed the video onto your site:

Thank you for your help! I tried to buy the premium upgrade, but i couldn’t make it work?!? This is what it says “This blog already has some of these upgrades. Did you mean to renew your subscriptions?”

yes! I succeeded in upgrading for premium, but it still says that I can’t use the file Move. ?!? Is it because I am using my mac and not the IPhone?!

Hello again! I am glad to hear you were able to complete that upgrade.
It isn’t a problem to upload a file created on your iPhone from your computer.
If you created your video on the iPhone, and it was hypothetically called OCEAN, the name of the file should be OCEAN.mov or OCEAN.MP4.
Does your file appear to be named in this manner?
If it has the wrong file extension, you can adjust it and try the upload again. Here is a great one-minute video that will assist you in that process:

hi again, i just tried one more time but it still says “this file type is not allowed. Please try another one.” And the file is called IMG_5351.MOV so it should work? This was an upload from my mac. Then i tried uploading directly from my IPhone but the same problem:(
