Problems with a private blog
-
Hello there! My problem is very easy to explain: a friend has a blog marked as private, and he sent an invitation to me, so theorically I can login into my account and access the site. The site is https://piecefulsoundcrate.wordpress.com/, which redirect me to soundcrate.net. There, all I see is the login window, so I enter my user (Zixort) and my password and try to access. However, all I get is that the fields of ‘Email or username’ and ‘password’ are cleaned, and it doesn’t matters how many times I try to login. I have cleaned my cookies and cache, and my web browser (Chrome) is updated. I have try everything to get inside the blog, asking for new invitations and everything, but I always get the same answer. Please, let me know what should I do now, since I have no idea. Thanks in advance for your time!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Were you logged into your WordPress.com account when you accepted the email invite? If not, can you give it another try? Log into your WordPress.com account and then click the email link.

I have tried again in that way, but I got the same answer. Thank you anyway, staff-ozmodiar!

Hi there,
Do you have third-party cookies enabled? Those cookies allow you to stay logged in to your WordPress.com account when you visit sites like http://soundcrate.net/ that are using custom domain names.
If you aren’t sure, you can visit our support page about Third Party Cookies. That page will check your cookie settings and has instructions to enable those cookies in your browser if you need.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Do you have to have a WordPress-account to read the private blogs, or can you just send out the link by e-mail and so on to e.g. grandparents???

You need to have a WordPress.com account. Otherwise the system doesn’t know if the viewer is someone who is approved or not.
