Problems with alignment when viewing pages
-
I’m having some problems with the poll feature too. When the pop-up window comes up I can’t seem to read the right side of the text. It cuts off some of the options, like i can only see the “Only show percenta” out of “Only show percentage.”
This sometimes happens when I’m looking at posts; I’m unable to read the words on the far right of the page. Can someone teach me how to fix this?

Can you give us a link to a post where this is happening? I don’t see a problem.
Also, consider linking your user name to your blog. From the sticky at the top of the forum:
Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one. -
Yes, thank you for your advice.
This problem hasn’t been happening on my own blog, just when I’m viewing others. For example, when I was viewing the PollDaddy update today, http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2008/10/15/polldaddy/ I found I was unable to see some of the words at the right end of the post. Is there a way for me to upload a screenshot to show you what I see? -
Oh. The problem is on your end, then. You can upload a screen shot to your blog and link the picture here.
What browser are you using?

It’s a little dodgy, but I think you can tell that at the right end it’s missing some letters/words.
I’m using IE 6 I think, but I’m not sure. -
I see the words cut off to the right. I think you can check your browser version by going to help and then about. If you are using IE6, there have been a number of problems reported about it. Is there a reason why you have not upgraded to IE7 (or even better, Firefox)?
-
Yes, I am indeed using IE 6. I’m not sure, I’ve just never been bothered to upgrade because I’ve never experienced problems with my internet browser before. Do you think this is just the browser’s problem?
-
Yes, I do. IE7 is much better than IE6, and, of course, Firefox is better than either one :)
