problems with cancellation and refund

Hi there, a year ago, I bought a domain (.com) that renews annually. I notified that I did not want to renew the service and asked for my account’s cancellation. However, I have been charged through paypal and I would like to know what I should do in order to both get a refund and cancel my account.

Information on refunds can be found here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/You can request a refund with WordPress.com from your Manage Purchases page https://wordpress.com/purchases
If you do not see the option to request a refund at the above link, please make sure you are logged into the correct account. You will only be able to request the refund from the account that originally made the purchase.
If you are logged in correctly and do not see the option to request a refund you can type ‘modlook’ into the tags box in the sidebar then click the ‘add’ button. This will notify staff that you need assistance with your refund. They will contact you here so please be sure to subscribe to the thread.
As for your account, WordPress.com is unable to delete user accounts. You are able to inactivate your account. Here are the instructions https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
