Problems with changing WordPress URL name?

  So this is my current address: http://californiadaisy.wordpress.com
  I want to change it to this: http://theblissfulbeaute.wordpress.com

  However, I have already created a brand new blog site with the second address… So I tried changing the second address’s name but it doesn’t seem to actually “change” the name, rather just create a new URL name..

  So am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to change my blog’s name or because I created a separate blog for my desired name that’s not possible? If that’s the case is there any way I can transfer everything from my old site including all my followers?

  You won’t be able to change your blog’s URL to an existing one, but you can transfer your content following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs
