Problems with comment displayal

  The comments on my blog, https://kellynroth.wordpress.com/, aren’t displaying right on posts and pages.

  It used to be that my replies to comments displayed like this:

  Original comment
  >>my comment
  >>>>their reply
  etc.

  Now the comments are displaying like this:

  Original comment
  Another original comment
  Another original comment
  My reply to original comment
  My reply to another original comment
  My reply to another original comment

  It just isn’t pleasing aesthetically, and if you don’t just read the comments in your notifications, it’s confusing. Is there any way to fix this or is it a weird glitch?

  Hi there,

  I checked the comments on some of your blog posts and I see what you are talking about. There are instances where your response is write under the user’s comments, but there are instances where there are three consecutive posts by seprate users and then your three separate responses int he row. I also noticed than none of the responses are nested like normal.

  Where do you personally go to respond to user’s comments? The notification bar? Behind the dashboard? Also, are you on a mobile device or computer when responding to comments?

  I usually respond on the notifications bar, and I always respond on a computer.

  Do you remember if you respond to those three comments consecutively?

  I think I responded to all three comments a couple hours after they’re been posted when I logged in and saw them.
