Problems with DYAD on Windows 10 Chrome browsers.

    Hey Support Team!

I own and blog for http://www.ProjectUnchained.com, a self-hosted WordPress.org site. I installed the DYAD theme a while ago and have loved the design and showcasing of photos. Perfect for my travel and self-improvement blog.

However I have a problem with some computers. It may be browser/OS related (2-3 computers have shown the problem, mine and two readers) but it may not. The 2 users who reported the incident both had Windows 10 and the latest version of Chrome.

The issue is this: in posts, when scrolling down, the semi-transparent header with the menu does not disappear like it does on other computers and browsers. I have seen Windows 10/Chrome setups with and without this problem with my site.

Please help so I can suit all my readers!

    Hello Joe
I looked at both blogs with four different browsers. The aplacetoart.wordpress.com. does not appear to be populated with any entries beyond the individual pages.

The http://www.ProjectUnchained.com blog has many posts, but i was unable to duplicate the issue you describe. However that is, as you say, hosted somewhere else. If this is indeed the case, i would recommend asking this question on the self-hosted forums found here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/

    In general:

If it is indeed only one browser causing difficulties, but not other browsers on the same computer, then the trouble is likely in the browser settings. More information may be found here:

    Good luck!

    Thanks @Dave2Swords! Super helpful.

I’m not sure why it wrote I needed help with A Place To Art… I am looking for help with Project Unchained.

I’ll check out other browsers on the machine in question and duplicate the question on WordPress.org forums.

If anyone has any other answers, let me know!

  • If you need further help with the self-hosted version of Dyad, feel free to post in its forum at WordPress.org:

It’s better to post there than in the general forum.

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
