Problems with editing post/saving changes, etc
-
I was having intermittent problems accessing my blog to edit a post yesterday and earlier today. Now when I try to login, it says that I lost the security and daisysworld.net might not be authentic. I logged in anyway to write this plea for help. When I used to log on it used to have http:// in front of my URL and now it doesn’t. What does that mean?
Also it redirects to my old URL http://www.daisyt13.wordpress.com not daisysworld.net. I renewed and paid my domain name in may.
Could someone please help. I’m not in the UK and not part of that Talk Talk thing.

Hi there. I have no issues accessing your site at daisysworld.net. Please read the following article to make sure you aren’t experiencing any browser issues:

I can access other wp.com blogs fine but I can’t access my admin page. I also cannot log in using https:// which I was able to do before. Also, I switched domain name to daisysworld.net and renewed it but when logging in not using https:// the domain name is my old one is showing up which is daisyt13.wordpress.com. I can’t edit or publish any posts but I can see all WordPress blogs including mine. Switched to chrome and I received an error message that said no data transferred. I have been using safari since inception of my blog.

Andrewcpht, thanks for your replies. I am a bonehead on these technical issues and appreciate your assistance.

No worries. Since you are on hotel wifi, you are most likely having issues with the way public wifi networks do redirects. If you can, try to access your site through a more secure network (such as at a home or office), and see if the issue persists.

I’ve quit using the hotel wifi because norton has been blocking some sort of ARP poison cache and that’s when all the problems started. I am now using my iPhone to communicate with you but I’m not logged on using https.
