Problems with follow blog via email

Hi. I have just tried to follow my blog via email to test it out and see what the email notification looks like and it says that there is an issue with it. It says “your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address”. I have tried it with 2 different email addresses that i know are correct. No wonder I don’t have that many followers via email as I would expect. I am not impressed that this is an issue with WordPress. This is not good enough. Please tell me when this issue started and when it will be resolved. I am so upset! Thanks, Sofia

Oh, and this is happening in Chrome. When I try it in Safari, the box to add email address doesn’t even show. Boo.

Hi, having logged out of wordpress in both safari and chrome, the email follow widget works and I have added in my email address. I haven’t received the email with a link to confirm subscription yet. I will post this as a separate issue tomorrow if I haven’t received it within 24 hours. Thanks.
