Problems with Freshy and IE8

  I have a Freshy theme blog and am having problems creating titles for my posts. It is simply impossible to type anything in the title box when editing or creating new posts or pages. This problem did not exist until recently and is not helped by using Google Chrome.

  As a result the new pages do not appear in the index and may as well not exist because there is no way to view them.

  All advice would be apreciated thanks.

  Spell check does not work either.

  IE8 is Beta. WordPress, in these forums, on other occasions has stated that they will not make changes or modifications to support Beta browsers. When the browser moves out of Beta and to final release, then they will look at it. It was that way with Firefox 3, and it was that way with Safari 3.

  My suggestion is to either download and install IE7, or Firefox 3. IE7 isn’t perfect, but it is reasonably stable with WordPress. Firefox 3 is better though.

  IE8 has a functionality called “Compatibility View”. Under Page, click on Compatibility View, and it will load WordPress in IE7 and allow you to update just fine.
