problems with google search

  Hi there! I’m the administrator for http://vastudioblog.wordpress.com/ and I found a problem which I was unable to solve so far. Once I’m searching for the blog on google the first website that appears is http://vastudioblog.wordpress.com/author/vastudioblog/ directing people to the author page. I wanted to change it to the original domain (http://vastudioblog.wordpress.com/) so that people who find us through google would enter our blog and could see the first page and so our news. Could you lend me some help please?

  We have no control over what Google chooses to display in SERPs (search engine page results). Any issues you have with search engines must be directed to them http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  Hey there,

  Google is quite independent in the way that it indexes things. There’s no way to control what content Google ranks highest on your blog–in the case of your search terms, your author page is rated higher than your home page.

  Currently, it looks like your home page doesn’t have any content. Once you start adding content, Google will likely rank your home page higher.
