Problems on Paint.net isn’t a wordpress issue, so we cannot help with that.

If you cannot resize your image, you can upload the original to your blog via Media > Add New, copy the image URL, paste it here, and I can resize it for you.

    “Required measurements” for which theme?

I wasnt sure if it was a problem with Paint, to be honest…I had put the measurements in as required but it didnt seem to help….

Are they all not the same measurements? 940 × 198 pixels on the theme I use which is….Twenty Ten

Is the above what you mean by or…

    this….

Both images are bad, because in both you have changed the original proportions, distorting the faces, but at least the second is better quality. I changed the proportions back to normal, and had to crop a little bit from the top to make it fit your theme. You can copy this to your computer and upload it:

And no, each theme has different header dimensions – see here:

PPS I have looked at your link…I like the look of the twenty eleven one….but obviously everything is set out different, For instance on the right side i have my twitter updates etc, and on this new theme, its not there, what happens to that?

    You’re welcome.

No, with the image you gave me, you can’t avoid that. I would have preferred cutting a little bit from the bottom of the image, of course, but the text you have added doesn’t allow that. You can try creating a new version of your composite image, taking the right dimensions into account from the start.

Your twitter updates are the Twitter widget. No matter which theme you switch to, you can always go to Appearance>Widgets and add the widgets you want.

A note on 2011 (which you may or may not consider a drawback): it doesn’t display the sidebar when you view a single post.

Hm,… hang on and I will see if my designer, could move the writing up, as I did notice that problem myself to be honest!!!!

Of course it is the widget! *Slap forehead!*

Ok, if I activate this 2011 one,….and should I not like it etc, if I change it back to the 2010 option, will everything be back in place as it is now?
