Problems with homepage
-
Hi,
I’m sorry, but I have been unable to figure this out on my own. I am using the basic twenty eleven theme and would like to have a homepage entitled “HOME” at the top of my website to link back to the front page and the most recent posts.
When I hit the “home” link at the top of the website it links back to: http://www.twoandahalfbackpacks.wordpress/home – which has no content. I have tried to change this to link to http://www.twoandahalfbackpacks.wordpress.com , but I’m not allowed.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Apparently you’re using a custom menu. If you only want links to your pages in the top menu, you don’t need a custom menu or a manually created Home link: go to Pages > All Pages and trash the “Home” page you created, then go to Appearance > Menus, select the blank option from the Theme Locations pulldown, save. This will restore the regular top menu, which displays all your pages automatically and includes a built-in Home link.
If you’re planning on including other items in your top menu, so you do need a custom menu, again you don’t need the “Home” page you created. See here: -
