Problems with image size in Oxygen

    I’ve been trying to upload a portrait format photo as a featured image that I want to appear in the slider, but I can’t get the uploaded image to be any wider than 749 pixels, despite how large I make it before uploading. I changed my media settings to make the largest photos max 800 pixels, but that made no difference. Is there something else I’m overlooking?

    I’ve had to do what I’ve always done whenever I’ve wanted to use a portrait format pic in the slider- I’ve made a copy and cropped it to have a horizontal format.

    But I was told on this board that it is possible to use a portrait format photo as a featured image in the slider…I’d just like to know how to do that, given that the width needs to be 750px.
