Problems with import from Tumblr

    Hi, I seem to be having the same problem as others. I started the Tumblr import Friday morning and its action/status was still in progress over 48hrs later. I cancelled it and started again, but I’m getting the same action/status. I don’t know if I screwed up by restarting or if it was a good idea. I read a post on here that where mod stated it takes 24 hours. I’m not sure if I need to simply be patient or if I’ve got a problem on my hands. Thanks for any advice.

    Please try again, or let me know if you’re trying to import to a different site.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your import is processed.

    However, please note that we have restrictions on the type of mature content allowed on WordPress.com, and pornographic or sexually explicit content is not allowed on our service at all.
