Problems with importing files (but still receiving confirmation emails).

    I am trying to import files from Xanga. I’ve gone through all the required steps and even got as far as receiving confirmation emails that the files were finished uploading. However, when I go back to my blog, none of the supposedly uploaded files are there. How can I fix this? Is there a content limit I’m not aware of?

    Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually before your import will show up on WordPress.com.

    Hi Rachel,

    Those did successfully import, but I’m trying to import another set. I had a couple of xanga pages, and the second page is the one that isn’t working. Am I only allowed to import from one xanga account?

    Hm, that’s odd. You should be able to import content from multiple blogs. Can you please email us the .zip export file you got from that Xanga blog?

    Hi Rachel,

    I have emailed you two of the files. As I said in the email, there are quite a lot of them, so as soon as the issue is resolved, I can take care of the rest.
