Problems with Jetpack
-
I recently published my blog and as part of the footer widget I had put the ‘subscription by email’ so that readers can subscribe to my blog. A few different users tried to subscribe and it wasn’t working, sending them error messages. So I looked more into it and this was the error message that I am now seeing ‘401: Jetpack: [auth_failed] Authorization header was malformed.’ I am wondering how I can fix this?
Also Jetpack isn’t working when I try to look at my site stats or do anything with it. It says the connection has failed and that I should disconnect from WordPress and try again. I have tried multiple times and am unsure of what to do from here.
Any help would be awesome, thank you!

Hi there, Jetpack has its own support FAQ and support forum where you can find help.
The Jetpack FAQ is located at https://jetpack.com/support/ and the forum specifically for jetpack issues is at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
For clarity about the difference between WP (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are), you’ll want to read this Support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Best wishes for a quick resolution.
