problems with logging in

when i type my website name into the search engine it asks admin to log in. i try to and it says my email is invalid and the same if i try my user name, when i know these are correct. I’ve only just joined wordpress and I’m a complete beginner with anything like this so i don’t understand what is going on at all.
Also when i go on to my users and click on myself and try to enter my email and change the user name it says email invalid or it says a message underneath along the lines of there is a pending change of your email to [email] i don’t understand what this means

It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
